  1. What is the best way to convert NTSC SVCD to PAL? With as little loss of quality than possible. Is it possible to change the framerate of MPEG file without re-encoding?

I have read hundreds of topics about this subject and tried many methods but I still need some help.

  2. I would be interested in any replys for this question too
It seems everytime i try to convert from svcd to pal i get out of sync problems and lose alot of picture quality

I tried the DVD2AVI/TMPG method but seem to lose audio sync everytime

Taken from the guide ........."Last select File->Save Project.
This will take some time, the program will decode the audio into a mpa--file and the video to a very tiny .d2v file. Just wait until it is finished and then close DVD2AVI. "

Strange as this takes only 40-60 seconds on average everytime????

Is it better to Demultiplex the audio out first ??

    Thanx for any help given

  5. All I've done is PAL to NTSC by using TMPEGenc simple De-Multiplex, then Simple Multiplex it back (make sure Type MPEG-1 videoCD is specified). Hope it helps.
