Actually it does belong here. Read the Wikipedia link and you'll understand why. It's a "Seti@home" kind of thing, although the original poster could have at least mentioned that in the post.

I did read that link before I posted. This is a web-based astronmy project for identifying galaxies using volunteer labor.

The description for the computer forum says this "Talk about anything related to PC hardware or software here." From where I sit, taking that as an invitation to promote one's favorite websites, without regard to their content, seems too broad of an interpretation of the subject.
