My friend send me three discs from his DVD camera but hi didn't know that he should finalize the discs first.
I can't find same camera here, so I have extract files from mini DVD discs with ISO Buster but now I have files with "TAO"extension. How can convert these files to MPEG or VOB files and put them on DVD Disc.
I'm looking for some program that is abe to do this.
Regards.

I do this:
1. Rename .tao file to .VOB. (It isn't really a .VOB at this point)
2. Use the demultiplexer (Demux) function in VobEdit to separate the audio and video into individual files.
3. Use IFOEdit's authoring function to generate a menuless DVD from the audio and video files. (This creates all the files required to make a playable DVD disk.)
4. Burn to DVD using ImgBurn.
There are other free or commercial programs that can work for steps 2 and 3, but this works for me. You don't even need to do step one, if you tell VobEdit to show all files in the directory when you click the "Open" button. -
There are a number of ways to do it, but link below gives instructions on how to recover video data with IsoBuster:

You should first create a "Managed Image", then run a missing files scan.
Good luck.Pull! Bang! Darn!
