need a media player that can....

I am trying to find a good media player to play karaoke .vob files. Currently using powerdvd, it has what i need but sometimes it lags (files are on external drive). I want to try a different software to know if that is caused by powerdvd. Looking for something that has following features:

- ability to play .vob
- playlist
- ability to switch audio channel / streams of the vob

I tried to use WMP (vista) but it wont play vob at all. I also tried Media Player Classic. That worked pretty well, but I was not able to switch between audio streams. In other words, every karaoke song has the vocals and cant just play only the instrumental. I would love to be able to use WMP but I cant.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks ahead of time.
