I want to create VCD's with still images to play them on my Pioneer DV626D player. I downloaded latest NERO burning software (v5.5.7.2) and created a VCD with some .JPG files. Nero converted them to the correct resolution and burned the CD. The directories and files look ok but the disk won't play in the DVD player. It states the disk has 4 seconds of information... Then I tried to play the .DAT file in the MPEGAV direcory on my PC using Windows Media Player and this didn't work either.
Has anyone succeeded in creating such a disk (and am I doing something wrong -> please tell me what), or is there really a bug in the software ?
Can these type of .DAT files be played with Media Player ?
Thanks for the help in advance!
Hans
