This link plays in stereo by default, which I thought they had made impossible.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x8gRgS4eViw

After clearing the video cache and loading ONLY this video the following files show up in VideoCacheView

    fla2A7.tmp
    video[1].flv

Neither of which will play in KMplayer, which is the first time I've encountered a file that wouldn't play. Here's what I get when I try to play the video[1].flv. Similar results when trying to play the fla2A7.tmp. Also can't convert them with WinFF. Media info recognizes them and gives stats on them.

I notice video[1].flv is shown as video/x-flv under content type in VideoCacheView.

Anyone have any insight re: either curiosity - why it's playing in stereo and why they won't play?

    Thanks

  2. FLV and MP4 files:

The MP4 is h.264 video and stereo AAC audio (no video in KMPlayer but MPCHC worked). The FLV is h.263 video and mono MP3 audio, plays fine in KMPlayer.

Except the default file plays in stereo on YouTube.

I just tried it and it's up and running fine.

I just wrote to them asking what kind of file they uploaded and how they created it. Apparently they're from Poland, I wonder if that has any bearing on it.

  6. I was finally able to download the file from your link. It doesn't play with KMPlayer or MPCHC. But it does play with VLC. It shows h.264 video and stereo mp4a (ACC) audio. I suspect that the FLV container has changed a bit and some of the older FLV splitters haven't caught up.

But HOW did they get it to play in stereo by default?
