Ok, I have been searching all morning for what seems like a relatively simple issue. My efforts thus far have been fruitless....
So I am turning to the experts.....
Ok, using CoreAVC to decode x264 video (usually 720p or 1080p), playing with Media Player Classic....for some reason the built in subs that h264/x264 support are showing, always. But the weird thing is, while the movie has built in Subs of Eng, Spa, Ita, Swe, etc, only the English show.
So I gues my question is....how do I tell MPC to not display subs, EVER!?
Also, I have gone into options and unchecked "Auto Load Subtitles", that did nothing.
Any ideas?

If you are using DirectVobSub, right click the green arrow in the tray icon and select "hide subs"
