i've tried allsort. the disc has old digi cam clips burnt onto it.
i can play the disc in question but when i go to "import video" onto windows movie maker it won't recognise!
uploaded about 6 different video-ts to avi or mp4 formats and none have worked.
running windows xp, any help appreciated.

What kind of avi have you made? Mp4 is not supported by windows movie maker.
Have you tried convert to DV-AVI? I use Xvid4PSP, open dvd, select DV under format and convert. It works fine for PAL-DVDs.
Or use a DVD/MPEG2 editor like VideoRedo, Tmpgenc Mpeg Editor or an advanced editor like Mpeg Video Wizard. -
still unable to format the disc and now my pc is playing up.
if i go onto driver updates or any other windows download it just says page connot be displayed or i get diverted to a totally unrelated site, what the hells gone wrong now.
how do i fix that!!!
