I found this program that will defrag the page file. In the screenshot, the page file is in 8 fragments. After defraging, the page file was all in one file. However, I would like to know more about the page file and defraging it. If the page file is in 8 fragments (instead of one file), will that slow down the computer?

8 fragments in a page file is not going to slow you down at all. it's a huge reserved file that is only used if you need more ram than the system has available. it's normally 1, 2 or 4 GB in size.

Compared to an unfragmented page file a badly fragmented page file will slow you down a bit more if you start paging. But the best solution is to avoid paging by having enough memory in the first place.
