I have a file in .rmvb and it has dual audio in it. I use convertxtodvd to convert it to .vob and then burnt it on a dvd. The problem is that it play that audio I don't want on my dvd player. How to I fix the problem? Thanks for the help.

  2. I'm assuming you mean dual audio as in Left and Right channels are different languages?

This is one way to do it:

Demultiplex your VOB's , open your AC3 (or mp2) audio in an audio editor (e.g. audacity) and delete the unwanted audio (either Left or Right). Duplicate the remaining audio by copying the existing channel to make a "fake stereo" track. You probably have to export as WAV and re-encode back to AC3 (or mp2). Then re-multiplex with the elementary video stream

Another easy way is to unplug either the Left or Right speaker . Some setups can mute specific audio channels too.

I am proud to know very little about real media files, but if your problem is not a left/right dual-language problem, but instead is a "I've got two separate audio tracks, and the player defaults to the one I don't want" problem, then the solutions are easy. One is to select the desired audio track from your remote control (if you're playing on a standalone DVD player), or to choose the correct audio in your computer's software player (see your menu options; there will be choices for the various audio tracks; pick the desired one).

If you don't want to have to go to that trouble, you have a couple of options: Re-author the dvd, and delete the track you don't like, or switch the priority (order) so that the player will default to the audio that you do want. These are all fast operations. You don't have to do any re-encoding at all.

Is the left/right dual audio problem. I tried to use the remote control to select the desire audio track but it has only one. The problem is I only see one audio stream when I put the file in convertxtodvd.
