Anyone have Rockband 2 yet?

I bought it Sunday for the 360.

I like it.

I want to try out the freestyle drum play in the practice mode. It's supposed to let you play drums to any song you have ripped onto the xbox harddrive. It won't be a guided track like a downloaded real song. But its supposed to let you do a free drum mode anyway you like it.

I still can't wait to get a U2 or Phil Collins/Genesis song for Rockband or Guitar Hero. HOWEVER THEY FINALLY HAVE EYE OF THE TIGER!!!! That is awesome....

I am guessing you are disappointed in the news that Brett Ratner's favourite project has been canceled - Guitar Hero, The Movie. Couldn't happen to a nicer guy.

After seeing World Tour has a MIDI drum kit I think I'd have to go that route. Rock Band started the virtual band craze but I think GH has trumped them now.

It is an awesome party game for my PS3 but playing solo has just never been fun for me. Probably because I have a real Gibson CS-356 sitting behind the couch that is much more satisfying

Mind you there is no way in hell I'm buying another drum set.

I am sorely tempted to buy a gutiar hero guitar for my 360 since the rockband guitar won't work on the guitar hero games - which sucks.... And I only have a ps2 wired guitar hero guitar.

I was wondering something about this - does the new guitar hero midi stuido support ANY midi file??????

I'd love to be able to take a "web" midi file and play it. The possibilities are endless if it supports importation of any .mid file.
