    hi guys i am trying to rip the audio from my video clip but having problems i have tried using virtual dub but doesnt seem to do the job looking to try and convert it into mp3 format can anyone give me some advice on the best apps to use for this?

  2. 1) In avidemux, open your video

    2) For the audio sidebar, select MP3(LAME), configure your options like bitrate, gain

    3) Audio=>save (use filename with extension e.g. "myfile.mp3")

    many thanks mate one last thing wat is the best bit rate for audio 128kb do u think

  4. Higher will give you better quality, but bigger filesize

    What was your original format?

    If it was already MP3, set the sidebar to "copy" instead - this way you lose no quality. If you don't know use mediainfo to find out
