Blue's Snowball, Marshall's MXL 006, Rode's Podcaster, or Audio Technica's AT2020USB --
Please comment, pros and cons, regarding any of their suitabilities for unmixed voice-over narration.
Thanks.

The Samson has a unique feature in that is has a headphone jack built in, so you can monitor the sound without USB latency.

But the Rode does as well, and is a better quality mic (less noise)
The Rode doesn't come with a desktop stand, so you might have to factor in around $15 for a stand.
Here's a visual demo of the Rode http://www.gearwire.com/media/rode-podcaster-winter-namm.wmv
And the Rode website http://rodepodcaster.com/page2.html#
I've used the Blue Snowball and it's a fine, if nondescript mic. I bought it for a client who was going to do podcasts, but then got lazy. The coolest feature... is that it looks like a snowball. Sound was OK.
I'd go for the Rode. Yes, it's the most expensive, but I've learned the hard way that if you buy the best and it works well, you always justify the extra cost.
