They blur people's faces out. I was looking and saw a person. The face is blurred. Did they just start doing that?

His name was MackemX
What kind of a man are you? The guy is unconscious in a coma and you don't have the guts to kiss his girlfriend? -
Now some weirdness. Looks like they piece these together. This is the exact same spot in both images.
Here it is when I click once to the east.

It's magic!

I'm sure they acquiesced to some of the privacy concerns and added the face blurring.
As to the piecing together that only makes sense. The "Google Streets Car" is only going to come through occasionally and may come back through to pick up some missing spots in their coverage and get some overlap like you pointed out. This is why I think it's laughable that people feel their privacy violated by this service. I'd rather someone scope out my place on the internet from a distance than have them scoping it out in person. It isn't like they're showing you a live feed of your front yard from the street.FB-DIMM are the real cause of global warming -
Apparently your house burning to the ground doesn't qualify for blurring:

Oh I'm aware of the private community. One of those was an entire township in Minnesota whose roads are private except for the people who live there. Private property is private but whatever is visible from public property is not and that's the law here.
As to the whole burglary scenario the view from the street is static and it is something they could do themselves in person by driving by and nobody is going to care. I don't buy it that this is a violation of my privacy. The static view isn't going to show when or if I'm home at any given time of the day or if my neighbor is home during the day. The photos could be taken on a weekend or weekday or late evening. Google could even be logging IP addresses of computers that go back and forth between specific areas a lot and could possibly act as a tool to deter crime. Besides, a burglar who has access to Google Streets is going to do more homework than just looking at a house onlineFB-DIMM are the real cause of global warming -
Driving by doesn't tell you what's behind the fence.
It also doesn't give you all the possible ways to get to or leave a place etc... It's a lot more information than they could ever get by simply driving by. The street view is not that bad but it's when you combine ittwith the satellite imagery where you're really give them all the information they need.

it also doesn't tell you if there is a big mean ************ with a loaded .44 inside &/or a nasty ass dog.
