    this guy is convinced he can capture video using an ATI 7500 TV-OUT card

    i can't for the life of me make this guy understand!!

    maybe he will listen to one of the experts here

  2. Easy, if the guy has any "common" sense, then TV-Out already means, playing back on the TV, if it was TV-In, or Line-In, that means getting Input.

    Out = Output, conclusion, the PC Plays information through the Output to the TV.

  3. he seems to have understood now but anways not only all in wonders can capture, i've got the radeon 64ddr vivo... it captures fine

  4. TV-Out and VIVO are two diffrent things, and the All-In-Wonder is specifcly designed FOR capturing (it even has a TV Tuner!), TV-Out ONLY provides you with Output to a TV.
    VIVO - Video-IN and Video-OUT, will of course give you capture, cause it gives you Video INPUT.

    i didn't mean that AIW is the ONLY capture device out there
    i was trying to make this guy understand that he would need the AIW version of his card (which he thought he bought)

    i guess whoever sold it to him made him believe it was a cap card
