    I have a samsung 709 player when I burn a vcd on a sony 74min disc
    it works and on a verbatim cdrw 80min they work. but when i use a 80min
    cdr it wont play. any help please the sonys 74min are hard to get hold of
    I have a film on a datasafe 80min thats ok.is it the discs or how i am burning them I use winoncd or instant cd+dvd

    mayber your dvd player is not CD-R compatible

    If you read the reviews for this player in the DVD Players section you'll see that lots of others have problems with media too. I doubt it's anything you're going to resolve, just keep trying cdr's and find one that works and is to your liking. Sorry, no quick fixes on that issue for anyone.
