Hi, i'm very new to this (cool) forum and DVD modification.
Is it possible to add subtitles in a DVD using DVDSubEdit or this application only modifies the properties of subtitles?
If not, can someone specify me the most recent tutorials on how to do this?
Sorry for my bad english and thanks to everyone for your patience.

As far as I know, you can't add a new subtitle stream using DVDSubEdit. However, since you're in the Subtitle Forum, had you looked at the top you would have seen a sticky entitled How do I add new subtitles to a existing DVD?. I might suggest using the second method of the 2 Baldrick outlines here:

first, thanks for answering.
yes, i did read those tutorials but because they are so big and some outdated, and DVDSubEdit seamed an easier path, i decided to ask before choosing a bigger and maybe outdated path.
That is the tutorial i was going to follow, since that it is the most recent one (isn't it?)

Yes, Baldick's method is the most up-to-date, and I use a variation of it myself when adding subs the DVD. Some of the other methods still work, but most are outdated, if not actually obsolete, and have been replaced with newer methods using newer and better and/or simpler programs.
