I was wondering if anyone know what is the media code of the 100-pack Imation for DVD-R that is currently sold at Wal-Mart Canada ?

Are they CMC MAG or SONY16D1 ?

Sorry, can´t talk about Canada. But last week I bought a few packs in WalMart Mexico. One pack was Sony ID, the others TDK 003.
TDK is as far as I know CMC - Mitsubishi bought TDK.
But even so: both burned well, no problems on DVD players & PS2. And they were cheap. No coasters - but all burned only at 8x.

Imation TDK & Sony were packed the same. Hard to know what´s in the box.

All the Imation I saw last year were RITEK or CMC.

This past week wakeupwalmart.com mailed me 2 anti-China-trade cards, and called my home, to try to change my shopping habits. wakeupwalmart.com is now on my black list thanks to their heavy-handed tactics. I hardly ever shop at Walmart, but since I am being harassed by their enemies, I plan on visiting Walmart more often now.
