  1. Came across this post this morning. Thought it was worth mentioning as it may well be worth confirming compatibility with Perian before upgrading.

  2. All workin fine here...QuickTime 7.5 and latest Perian...Audio, video and subs within DivX/XviD are working normal, same as before QT 7.5 update...

    You know, just because it shows up in SW Update,
    doesn't mean you HAVE to download it.

    In fact, unless it directly impacts another piece of software,
    there isn't a need to even think about it all.

    That being said:

    At home I'm still running QT PRo 7.3.1.
    Works fine with my FCP setup, no need to upgrade.

    At work, 10.5.3 Leopard and QT 7.5 and Perian 1.1,
    as well as Flip4Mac v. 22.0.4 is all I have on
    my MBPro. Works fine, no issues.
