    Does anyone know the way to change regional coding on this player. One person stated 6 numbers in his hack quote but the dvd player has only room for 4 numbers in the regional code change

    Hi -- we are considering purchasing this dvd player if we can find the unlock code. There is no point us purchasing a surround sound home theatre system unless we too can also obtain the unlock code -- did you have any success? Please let me know if you did and the outome -- much appreciated -- Jacqui

    No longer necessary -- the Sony dvd player model no DAV-DZ150K already was unlocked. We tried region 1 and region 2 dvds and we are in region 4 and they all worked fine. No need to buy another dvd player now.
