    Just got my pioneer 106s and a have a few questions

    1) Where do I find firmware for it? I have looked on pioneerusa.com

    2) Why nad how do I fix it from only rip at 1.2 speed max

    3) why cnat I get any sound from playing dvds on it? I have the cable hooked up to my soundcard

    1) Email me and i'll send you the Region Free Firmware for your Pioneer 106S
    2) You need to make sure your drive works in UDMA mode and that Sync is also Enabled, that you are using an 80wire IDE cable, and that you have the latest IDE drivers for your board.
    3) As far as I know DVD movie audio is being decoded by the program you are playing, not through the Audio Cable from the drive to the soundcard.
