  1. Here is my problem.

I use virtuadub to capture analogue video.

I have the huffyuv codec installed.

I have an ATI all in wonder 32MB 128 pro with MMC 6.3

When I select capture in virtualdub it only lets me select the AVI capture codecs.

If I apply any filters to my captured video and try to save as AVI, it will let me save as huffyuv and various other settings but will not allow me to save using any of the ATI codecs.

I am cautious of upgrading MMC to a later version as I have heard that this can cause problems.

The bit where you can't save using the ATI codecs is probably because they are capture codecs.

The first bit I'm not sure about (I don't use ATI) but you may need to set something in the Capture Format settings to YUV (or similar) or RGB. This is the case with my ASUS set up. If I select ASUS ASV2 in the Format, I can't use Huffyuv etc. If I set anything else I can...that's just the way it works.

    Hope this helps
