Hi,

While trying to make the player region free it locked up.

Tried to reset it by powering down but now the remote will not work at all.

I've tried power down and pull cord and a whole range of other things.

Does anyone know how to fix this thing or how to do a factory reset?

Your only option is to power off/unplug the unit, wait 30-60 minutes, then try plugging it back in. Aside from that, it will need to go to the repair center if it's under warranty. Otherwise, it will likely be cheaper to simply replace it.

And next time get a player that supports region free and doesn't need to be hacked.
