    To summarize :

    2 sets of headsets.
Neither set work on computer A.
Both sets work on computer B.

    So both headsets work.

Computer A has a faulty socket, or you are plugging it in to the wrong socket.

  4. You probably don't have the audio port configured properly. Your audio card should have come with a setup program that lets you specify what each port does.

I know it's a stupid question but you are plugging the headsets in the right socket aren't you?

Other than that - have you checked the volume is high enough and not muted?

You could also check in Device Manager and check that the card itself is installed correctly and isn't reporting any errors!

Is this the front panel audio socket? If so, have you tried the green speaker socket on the back of the computer?

Have you opened your audio settings and put all the sliders to 'max'? Many new audio cards use 'jack sensing' where a single jack may be used for more than one purpose. Makes it a bit confusing. Consult your motherboard or computer manual.

And to make it interesting, Vista uses a different set up for handling audio. It's mostly done in software, not the audio card itself.

Last possibility if it's just the front panel jack that isn't working is that the cable is unplugged internally.

I tried to look in the Device Manager but it says it's working correct...

It's a Realtek High Definition Audio audio card and the motherboard is a GIGABYTE GAP35C-DS3R..

And and in the Sound Device Manager it does'nt show the headset icon...

And i tried the other things too.
