  1. What can you do about a MPEG movie who think itself are 29 minutes long, even thou its moore like 1.19 h in reality
The consequenses are with this..thath it refuse to splitt accurat, i have tested with alot of different file splitters and the accuarcy becomes like 20 minutes wrong with complete different parts

Therefore i have instead tried to convert it to AVI with Virtualdubmod along with testing others converters, and the funny thing is thath thei all give a output on 41.29 min (it claims, but its wrong) but it really only represent 15 minutes of the full movie when just playing it, so 15 % becomes converted at most, thou all converters including VD think thei completed the procces on 100 %
One brave converter even refused and gossip'ed confidential something like..'The file can't be converted cause it contains no codec' perhaps there is something into thath..cause when viewing the file inside videoinspector the 'codec installed bar at the right' is marked in gray, wich in my experience is a common sign for a problem-file

Before creating my output in Virtualdubmod, i have tested convert the sound to 192 LameMp3, tested directs stream copy on it.
and sett to full Video proccesing-mode and choose Xvid as compressor, all thoose wery basic stuff is the only thing i know about
so perhaps there is something in VD thath can help fix this..ad codec (thath is what i allready do above)? or other programs?

is there a common diagnose for file thath looks like this?

Try repair it using videoredo(use the quickstream fix) or run it through/demux using pvastrumento or projectx.
