I want to convert a VHS Video to a DVD I have a tv card called WinTV-go by Hauppauge But when I have recorded video to my pc ready for converting to a DVD as a .avi movie this is when the audio seems to be out of sync with video it seems to be towards the end part of movie. is there any other programs I can use like Wintv-go which can transfer video to my pc and not be out of sync

Try capturing in a different format than avi. Especially if your final output is going to be DVD. The best option would be mpg2 in resolution that meets DVD spec.
