How do I uninstall TMPGenc so that I can get around the 30 Day SVCD mpg2 limit. I have tried erasing the files/folders and reinstalling it but it keeps on saying that the 30 days is up. Is there something in the registry that I have to modify (W98 SE)

    Thanks

  2. if you did a search in these forums you would have found several ways to do so
here's the way i did it:
copy this to notepad and save it as TMPGEnc_MPEG2_Reset.reg

    REGEDIT4
    ; Enables TMPGEnc's MPEG-2 encoder for 30 more days.
    [-HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{63902277-B101-4049-8B46-C24B67E155E5}]

Then put it in the same folder as tmpgenc. then double click it.
