I am looking for some software that would allow me assign effects to keys on a keyboard, set them as loop or play once/ repeat n times, and then let me play them back live as required. Essentially like a sampling keyboard. We are looking to use this for live audio effects production during stage performances. Not having a lot of luck finding anything useful. Happy to hear about anything that might suit - DJ/VJ software included.
Cheers guys.

Not checked any of them. Musically, I'm illiterate. -
pcspeak - thanks for the links. Midi wont cut it as-is, although they might prove useful if I need a midi keyboard to trigger effects.
soopafresh - that's more like what I had in mind. trying it out now.
Thanks guys.
Edit | SoundPlant is exactly what I was looking for. Thanks again.Read my blog here.
