VOB to MPEG2 with Chapter Information

Hi there ive been using dvd decrypter and shrink,any dvd and many other programs for a long time.

Recently purchased a Linksys Media Extender which can play mpeg2 streams via Windows media Center.

Now if i rip a DVD as an IFO - i can rename the main movie file to .mpg and this will play fine , however it doesnt contain any chapter information - so forwarding is a pain and doesnt work at all.
I dont want to convert it to divx or anything else - needs to stay uncompressed.

Im looking for some sort of tool that will let me rip a vob into an mpeg stream with chapter markers...

any ideas appreciated thanks

Just a mpg doesn't support any chapter markers so it wouldn't be possible.
