Hi,
1) Heard a rumour that it encodes faster when its been registered. Is this correct?
2) Does the new 2.51 plus version allow you to encode over 2 gigs of DV Avi's or will it if you register/purchase version?
reason being:- I need to frameserve through Premiere 6, but i'm sure it will be a lot easier (not tried it yet) using TMPGenc standalone.
Thx

I can also confirm that...
I just "register" too, 'cause currently there is no other way and I was dieing to test if the rumours were true...
There is no improvements on time encoding.
There is better support of AMD athlon XP's SSE commands, both 2.51 and 251 plus. That makes the overall proccess slightly faster....
The only differences of the plus version are: New, better 2 pass VBR and better split of gops... Also, some new templates
BUT (there is always a but), maybe I just remove the trial and I didn't regist at all...
We need a true serial to test it 100% -
SatStorm..
I think the way we "registered" would be the same.. I cant see a hidden feature to make it faster.. Normally a program only has a time limit,etc..but not hidden preformance.
Who knows
