    Dear Friends,

Is it possible a MPG file have selectable substitles, or just VOB files may have those? It's because I'm ripping a DVD, and was thinking if could be possible we make a m2v ( mpg ) like I said. If so, how could we do this with the smartripper or the DVD Decrypter?

I don't think mpg has any support for switchable subs( I haven't seen any muxer for it or player). You could make one vob with dvddecrypter or join the main move with vobmerge and it will contain the subtitles but no player will play the subtitles...

  4. why not use RipIt4Me you can remove features you don't want like extras etc and retain selectable subtitles and burn to DVD.
