I am having no luck with the WinCoder/WinProducer(Editor). I don't think WinCoder is a problem. WinProducer will not play nice with MPEG-2 files(doesn't output). Used MPEG-1 and got an output file, but VCDEasy doen't like it. Tried editing in AVI(as suggested here) and WinProducer would not create an output file (something about filter compatability and input and output pin?).

WinProducer would work for what I need.
Is this a setting problem? or will upgrading solve this?
Should I move on and get a different editor? If so, which one?
