Hi there. I been following http://<a class="contentlink" href="http://www.bobsomers.com/articles/dvd-xvid-ac3/" t...a> ]This Guide to rip and convert my dvd's. However there is a few movies I have that has subtitles. The guide doesnt tell me how to extract the subtitles. The other guides that I found that let me use virtualmoddub only tells me how to add the sub files and compress. In other words, how can i extract the subtitles from the movies i ripped to my drive so i can later add it virtualdubmod so i can convert it to xvid with sub?

Thx. I manage to extract the subtitle off of one movie. I would like to know if I add it to the filters in Virtualmod during the 1st pass or 2nd?

  5. The settings should be the same for both passes. You add the subs to both passes.

I have a problem with one of my movie. I load the movie and start the extraction process. I would type in the first few letters as normal before it starts going on its own. However for this particualr movie, about 1/3 way into the process a error/warning? would pop up saying it cant process it. Then im force to type out the entire sentence.

  8. This is using SubRip? Sometimes there will be a complete sentence it can't read or something, and you'll have to type in the whole thing. If it continues giving you entire sentences to type out, I usually give up and do the OCR using SubResynch (comes in VobSub). It doesn't open IFOs, though, but IDX/SUB subtitle files that you have to create yourself (VobSub Configure or somesuch).
