    I want to capture HD video from a hd cable reciever that has and hdmi and composite outputs. How could I get that into my computer and keep it in true HD format. The orginal format is 720p. I want to know what kind of hardware/software that i would need. The computer is either a pc or a macbook. Thanx all.

    probably with a cap card that has hdmi or composite inputs...
    whatcha gonna do? edit it and put it on a disk?
