    Hi,

I have an .mkv file (a movie) that is supposed to have subtitles (it is "Apocalpto"). MediaInfo shows no text files or any other signs of subtitles.

The MediaInfo shows the following about the file:
    Matroska: 7.95 GB
    1 video stream: MPEG-4 AVC
    1 audio stream: AC3

    Audio stream: 48 KHz, 6 channel, AC3.

Is it sufficient information to determine whether there are subtitles or not? I am ready to provide any additional info that might be required.

    Thank you.

Why don't you re-rip it from the original Blu-Ray disk?

Thank you! Probably that would be the easiest solution.

Then you shouldn't keep any backups either.
