    I have Premiere 6 and I'm going to be mixing MPEG-2 captured video wth DV Video. I was wondering what the best way to open the MPEG-2 in premiere is. It's a 9GB file to start, so I'm willing to frameserve somehow and sacrifice speed. I know premiere will open mpeg-1, but whats the best way to get it to read mpeg-2?

    Well I havnt tried this with premeire but it works with vdub.
    Open mpeg2 with dvd2avi, open d2v with vfapi, open pseudo avi with vdub.
