    There is an option in TDA called "DVD-Video Settings". The default audio bitrate is set to 256 Kb/s. Will changing this to a higher number result is better quality output or is this settings for something else entirely? Thanks

    That is for audio. For stereo, 256 kbps is about as high as you need to go unless you have uncompressed PCM of a high quality. If you are using stereo (2.0) Dolby Digital then 256 is fine.
