ASVM6271 Car DVD Player

Does anyone know the code for the ASVM6271 Car DVD Player? Or don't codes exist for these? I'm about to buy one, but it's Region 2 and as I'm about to move to australia I need to make it multi-regional. Please help if you can. Pete W

Here you go and enjoy:

1. Switch on (I know, and I'm sure you aren't thick but you'd be surprised out there!!)
2. Open Unit.
3. Insert the following number sequence with the Remote control: 9 7 3 5 9 7
4. this opens a sub-menu, and you should be able to highlight what region you want. Region 9 covers all (I think!)

I did have a small panic attack when It played the first USA (Region 1) disc in only black & White, but the good old 'ON-OFF' switch seemed to cure this and it's worked fine ever since.

Don't ask me for any techie or geek advice, I wouldn't have a clue. It just seems that there are only actually a few cueing sequences for most machines. It's trial and error until you find one that works!!
