Hi: I looked around this site to find windows application (free or commercial) that can rip the DVD and create a MPEG file. I have tried AoA DVD ripper. The resulting mpeg file always has the audio not in sync with the video. Any software which has worked for others? The audio-video sync problems only start after 20-30 minutes.

    Thanks
    Ray

DVDDecrypter (to elementary streams) or rip with anything, and then run the VOB set thru vob2mpg

TMPGEnc MPEG Editor (any type of stream, no DTS). Allows for cutting on timeline.

I use Nero. Just click "import disk" and you get an mpg from any disk. I works great!!
