    Ive encounterd a movie file which says its a .php

    it plays in VLC player but not well ( fast forward, etc)

    Id like to convert it to QT ( or anyting better than VLC)

    in ffmpegX it says the file is:

    asf, video: wmv3, yuv420p, 640x480, 1000.00 fps

    audio wmav2, 44100 Hz, 96 kb/s

    some of the random selections I( made in the program to avi divx et seem to take too little time to convert and the end file crashes QT

    any ideas?

    Rename .php to .wmv and play the clip in QuickTime Player with Flip4Mac.

    Then use Flip4Mac Studio or WMV Player Pro to convert to a QT movie
    that's easier to use, or simply to DVStream to burn onto DVD easier.
