I just bought Toast 8 and I've updated to 8.0.3 and when trying to preview, or import any projects I did in iMovie 08, I see "unsupported format".
I can however preview/import all older iMovie HD projects, all .mov files, all QT Movies.
Why does Toast only support importing of the iMovie 06?
I've just spent 2 weeks building projects to send for Xmas and now I can't even use the new Toast.

I have several small projects and I already "shared" to Media Browser 2 of the short ones, just to test in Toast.
But, in Toast MB, they show up but I'm unable to preview or import these.

    Am I completely missing something?
    Confused and frustrated,
    Deb

No you aren't missing anything, other than the fact
that Apple re-wrote iMovie '08 from the ground up,
and locked out importing it's new project folder and
asset types into other Mac apps.

if you need the cross compatibility with Toast,
stick with iMovie 06. Otherwise You'll have to export
all your iMovie edits out of the timeline as either QT movie files,
    or DV Stream files.

Thanks, that works, but I also found a workaround.
I went into the iMovie 08 package folder, and dragged the movie file into the Toast window.
    It worked.
Except, my Denon S301 jumps the DVD.
I made another with iDVD 08 and the Denon jumps that one.
They do work on the computer and in the Sony DVD player.
So, I finished my project and they went out by courier today.
    Thanks again,
    Deb
