    I was wondering do they make a dvd+r with duel layer that supports lightscribe yet? and second if my dvd writer supports duel layer do i have to use a duel layer cd because there expensive?

  2. You have an LH-20A1H which supports pretty much all the different types of media. Just because a burner is DL capable does not mean you have to use it. You can use DVD SL media just fine. Good luck.

    Nope, because there is no DL Lightscribe media.
    And the technique behind DVD9 is DUAL or DOUBLE LAYER nothing related to a duel.......

    [_chef_] is quite correct. I know that DL media is more difficult to manufacture than single layer media and there are more defective discs that come off the assembly line than with single layer media, which is part of the reason that DL discs are still relatively expensive. I would guess that the few manufacturers that support Lightscribe have decided that it's cost prohibitive to make Lightscribe DL media. Both Lightscribe and DL discs have been out for years now and there still aren't any Lightscribe DVD+R DL discs, so I wouldn't hope to ever see any.
