This seems to be my day for phone related issues.
I have a Panasonic KX-TG2215B cordless phone. This things come by default with a NiCd battery. I just noticed that Energizer is making a NiMH battery that supposedly replaces the NiCd. I could very likely be wrong, but I didn't think that a NiMH battery could charge correctly in a NiCd charger. I'd love to be wrong about that as a NiMH battery would be much nicer to have. Any info on this is appreciated.

I have a small charger that works for both NiCd and NiMH, but you have to flip a switch and can't charge both types at the same time. It's not conclusive evidence or an explanation of why, but I wouldn't charge a NiMH battery with a charger made for NiCd.

I finally found my old Kodak charger from my GBA playing days. Evidently it charges both types with no switching at all. Again not conclusive but it seems like the hardware should support both types.
Thanks for your input.
