So is it possible to do the reverse? In other words, is it possible to alter gene in a homosexual to make him/her attracted to opposite sex?

i dont think its a choice but it is a desire. you cant help what you desire. just as you cant help what you find attractive. you like what you like. you can suppress your fealings but you cant easily if at all change them. you dont wake up and say im gonna think that all tall big boobed blonds are hot one day. or you dont grow accustom to them over time. you like them or you dont..

BUT that doesnt make it right either. i will let people be as long as they dont try to push their way of life or if they try to emphisize their sexuality just to prove a point. if every one were gay then the world would end in less than 100 years. forget about test tubes and women allowing a seed to be planted. screw that.. if you want a baby then do it the way it was intended or piss off.

I'll agree that STDs are more prevalent in homosexual males, due mainly to lower percentage of condom usage and a high percentage of promiscuity (this is probably because there's no risk of pregnancy).

As far as your comparison to killing, stealing, raping and molesting, I'd say it's pretty ridiculous. You're comparing a person's sexual preference, be it by choice or genetics, to violating another person's civil rights by force. I guess I'm missing the correlation. Would you care to clarify?

Would you care to clarify? an urge is an urge. they derive from the same area of the brain. weather its an urge to run or an urge to have sex. the drive to do either come from differnt areas however. what is the difference between a persons urge to be with the same sex or the urge to be with a goat for example? is beastiality genetic also? if so then you couild argue sex crimes are also since its an un controllable urge or wanting.

why is it that of all the beings on this planet we are the only ones that have same sex relations? unless thats how your species pro creates. but ive never heard of one. we are teh only beings that use sex for enjoyment/pain/satisfaction/controll etc. procreation seems secondary if you listen to the news or try to search the internet.
