    Simple question (i hope) : can i use more than one instance of virtualdub simultaneously to reencode video using Xvid in 2-pass mode? Thanks.

    Yes. Just use different names or locations for the stats files.

    You should check you cpu and memory usage before starting another process. Especially if you are using the PC in your profile.
