    hello every one im new to this site and i wasnt sure where to post this question so i thought this might be a good place well here goes.....

    i was wondering does anyone know how to convert dvd movies/movie files of any type down to the right size to be watched on a palm treo useing a mac? when i used a pc i just used the freeware app "fairuse wizard" and it worked well but i have searched high & low and i cant find any apps that work with my mac/mac os x!

    i know how to do this once i have the right software but it was much easier when i had a pc instead of a mac and also i always used freeware

    any reply's or suggestions whould be greatly appreciated and if this post is in the wrong place im sorry let me know andi'll move it thanx

    Have you tried ffmpegx, handbrake or maybe MPEG StreamClip ?

    There are a lot of Treos. What are the specs for acceptable video for yours? iSquint (free) or VisualHub ($24) might also work.
