I have this DVD file which apparently is either incomplete or corrupted. It has the usual VIDEO_TS folder with the usual BUP, IFO and VOB files in it. When I try playing this DVD with a DVD player like PowerDVD it will load it but it won't play it. On the other hand, if I click on any of the individual VOB files that show in the VIDEO_TS folder they will play perfectly. One of these VOB files corresponds to the presentation menu of the DVD. Is there any way I can reconstruct this DVD to make it playable again with the corresponding menus, etc?

DVD Remake worked for me once and only once. If I'd known how much file copying and transferring was involved I probably wouldn't have bothered in the first place. It didn't help that I was expected to guess which files needed transferring to a new location and then manually create and correctly name new folders in order to make a playable file

It is difficult to know what to fix if you don't know what's broken.
You could try using IFOEdit to re-create the ifo files, in case the problem lies there.
Or perhaps run it through FixVTS, in case it is because of a bad rip.
Did you rip this yourself ? Or was it a download from elsewhere ? It is not uncommon to see posts here regarding downloaded Video_TS folders that simply do not work.Read my blog here.
