I have some videos that were capture a couple years ago using a Broadway board (http://www.b-way.com/). We no longer have any boards. I contacted the company that bought out broadway, no one working there has any experience with the boards. They were however able to send me the bw10.dll codec file.
How can I go about installing it so I can try to convert the video into another format? Under Winxp SP2 I have tried registering it with regsvr32, but it reports back saying it can't find the module.
Any thoughts or suggestions are appreciated. Thanks!

Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas? This is my last resort.

Is it http://www.b-way.com/Broadway/Features/Broadway_Specifications.pdf ?
Looks like standard mpeg1. What are the file extensions for the video files? -
Yep, those are the specs. I used to work with one when I live in NY in 2000-2001.
MPEG1
Either capped as std. MPG1 IBP Video (and MP2 audio) in MPEG1 System Stream, or capped as I-frame only MPG1 video (and PCM or MP2 audio) stored in either AVI or MPG1 container (usually much higher bitrate).
You often would cap the I-frame, and then after editing, use the board to rescan the file and convert the frame sequence to IBP (without decoding, so it was FAST) in a std. MPG1 System Stream (and at a lower, ~VCD bitrate).
Any codec that can handle MPEG1 in an AVI container should work (no need for the boardset), just probably need to change the fourCC.
In all honesty, the quality of the encoding, while GREAT by 1999 standards SUCKED compared to any of the current standard encoders this forum normally would use: TMPGEnc, Cinemacraft, BBMPEG, Panasonic, Mainconcept, Menc, HCenc, QEnc. Other failing is that you could only cap 1/4 D1 max.
I have copies somewhere of the BWAY codecs as well, but they're really no good without the boardset (just like Canopus DV can't work correctly without the boardset).

I've tried changing the fourcc to mpeg with no luck. Any other suggestions?

Don't know what the fourCC should actually be: MPEG, MPG, MPG1, etc?...
Tell ya what, geta a copy of ?? YMPEG ?? codec, which IIRC can save an MPEG inside of an AVI.
Make a test clip.
See what the fourCC is.
Change your fourCC to that...
Then you should be good to go. (Assuming YMPEG decodes as well as encodes)
