Duh,I can burn the file as a data UDF disc but the dvd-drive makes a most nasty sound when I try to open the disc.I'll burn it again for giggles.First time I burned a 4GB+ HD MKV file,I was just wondering how other people did it.

You hate matroska because of dvd burning problems? THe file content has nothing to do with how data dvd burning works.

Could you explain exactly what happens? and what burning tool are you using? Nasty sound doesn't sound good.
