SVCD 2.5 won't launch

have recently updated to svcd2dvd 2.5, but the program won't launch. it will register and tells me its generated the machine licence and would i like to run registered program, I say yes, opening screen comes on and then after bout thirty seconds it goes off. looked in task manager can see the svcd process start , then it just goes off.

have reinstalled several times, also tried reinstalling previous versions but these wont run either, missing xml file.

please help, am really missing this program,

also having the same problem get the splash screen then nothing.have updated my .net files and vb files and tried a reinstall lets me reg etc but wont launch the program

Well in both cases reinstall. Then run, cancel the wizard and cut and paste the whole of the "UserData" into an email to me and we can then do the registration thing manually. See my profile for the email address.

already installed v.2.5 on my laptop but when put to launched it launches but just fade away after a few seconds,tried re-installing many times but the same problem occurs.don't want to waste my 20 english pound that i've paid for this.i have faith that you can work this out.thanks,sayonara..

Do you have vista on the laptop?

no i'm not using vista but windows xp home edition sp2,hope this will help you figure out ways to fix the program so it will run smoothly...arigato...

Hi! i followed what you've told me to e-mail you on your address on your profile but when i tried to email you using yahoo.com the mail cannot be sent and it says that something is not right on your email address. I can't use my outlook express to sent you email because it's in japanese kanji (am not a japanese but living in japan) hope there's another way where we can get in touch to help me solve this svcd2dvd launching.waiting...sayonara..
